Luckiest of lucky days
My kids are so lucky. They spent this weekend at my mom and dad's house while Marty and I got a project done in the yard (more on that later). No trip to Grandma Jane and Grandpa Pack's (Martin's name for my dad) house is ever boring. Here's a sampling of their weekend:

On Friday, we went to a baseball game. Martin and Sophie got to watch a game in the baseball park where I've watched probably over 100 games. Sophie liked the crowds and Martin cheered on the Spartans. Even when the batter swung and missed. I can see we'll have to do a little work on understanding the rules of the game.

On Saturday, Martin and dad did lots of digging and hauling using the Ranger.

The kids went for lots of walks.

They went to a festival at St. John's and spotted some unmanned fire trucks. So, they did a little exploring.

And, Martin caught a big fish. A "monster" fish according to Martin.
How lucky can they be?

Martin is the cutest child on the planet. He's like a smaller, cuter Macauley Culkin.
