Mixed memories

This weekend my dad told me that he didn't want to be critical, but several of my memories reported on this site are not true or not exactly true.  I'm a little surprised to hear this - the memories are so absolutely vivid in my mind.  According to our estimations, my memories are about 85% accurate.  They contain a good portion of truth and a smaller portion of pure imagination.  Does this mean that I am just imaginative or that I didn't pay very close attention to the event the first time around?  Am I going through some form of partial amnesia laced with fabrication?

I suppose next he'll tell me that the time my boyfriend Manly and I picked up Joanie and Chachi in the Mystery Machine and went down to the Peach Pit never really happened either.

That totally happened - I was with the Goonies, and we met you there, remember?

They are such fun memories, true or not! Since your Dad is my age and you still have a younger brain, can we be absolutely sure who has the clear memory? LOL, as long as the holiday stories are true memories! We might need to get your Mom to verify!
