Little momma

Last Christmas, Sophie received armloads of dolls that now fill an entire shelf in her room.  Each time she goes to the shelf, she picks out the same doll and carries her around.  She named her "Bay".

Lately Sophie has started acting like Bay's little momma.  She gives Bay sips of her milk, feeds her bits of her food, wraps her in a blanket and gives her lots of kisses.  The other day I heard her whispering sweet nothings into Bay's ear using words that probably only Bay can understand.  It's really cool to watch the tenderness in which she mothers Bay.  Its like seeing part of who she might become.

With all of this attention Bay is filthy by the end of each day.  I wait until Sophie falls asleep, take Bay out of the crib and run her through the wash.  The only drawback to this plan so far is that I have to stay up late enough to run Bay through the washer and dryer cycles.

Here's a video where Sophie is giving Bay some love and a lesson on how to make play-doh snakes.

I would have appreciated a N warning, you know, N for Nudity. I, like Martin, prefer to play with clay half naked, but for those who don't, you could have let them know they would being seeing some skin in your video.

Thank goodness Sophie gave Bay a "Good Job". My kids always told their bays "Hurry! We're Late!"

I didn't even notice that he was practically nude in the video. When I added this to the site, I was mostly concerned with making sure I spelled "play-doh" properly. You know, after the "crayloa" incident.
