Dumb Dr. Phil

I came home from work today mid-afternoon while the kids were still sleeping.  I decided to lay down and watch a little Dr. Phil while I waited for them to wake up.  Martin came into my room, crawled into bed and said, "I don't like the news."

"This isn't the news," I said.  "This is Dr. Phil."

"I don't like Dr. Phil," he replied.

"Why not?" I asked.

"I don't learn anything from Dr. Phil," he told me.

Really.  As opposed to ALL those great things a guy can learn from Tom and Jerry.  Or Scooby Doo, there's an educational program for you.

I have to agree with Martin. And don't knock "Tom and Jerry." Saddam was a big fan, you know. So was Moammar Khaddafi. Obviously, the show imparts important lessons.
