Modern Christmas

I recently read an article about how to "modernize" your Christmas communications.  The article had two main suggestions:
1) Setup a webcam on your tree so that everyone can see all the activity around your house.  I quickly nixed this idea because seriously, how boring would it be to see OUR house all day everyday.  The only benefit I could see to this idea was that I could watch the tree while I'm at work and see which child is removing ornaments and where they put them.
2) Create a Holiday Blog where you'd post something every day that is relevant to the holiday.  I decided not to create a second blog and commit to an everyday deadline during the time of year when I seem to have the least amount of extra time.  Instead, I'm going to add something to this site whenever I feel like it...much like I do the rest of the year.  But, since my mind is filled with Holideluxe thoughts and ideas it will probably end up being mostly Holidelicious stuff anyway.

So, I'm officially kicking off the Holiday season at The Nelson's.  I'm still going to do the traditional Christmas card and CD mix, but this year I'll also add a more "modern" component via this site.
