Learning from your elders
I read an article tonight about an elderly woman in Arizona who has found herself on the other side of the law. Because of bingo.
The 61 year old grandmother (mom, I'm not saying that 61 makes you elderly, I'm just paraphrasing from the article) was found with 214 pounds of pot in the trunk of her car and she has bingo to blame. Prosecutor Doyle Johnson stated that "People who play bingo almost every night of the week end up losing in the long run. The underlying issue is that she's got a bingo problem, which explains why an otherwise nice person might get sucked into something like this."
There are some very important lessons to be learned here:
1. Never keep 214 pounds of pot in the trunk of your car.
2. Bingo is the real gateway drug.
3. There may be life B4 bingo, but maybe not after.
Oh come on, you can't call bingo for four summers at Ruttger's without picking up a few bingo jokes along the way. I mean seriously, when else do you get to use them?

This is hilarious! Pot and Bingo - who'd have thought?!!! Gotta pass this on to my 'bingo-playing aunties', oh! And I gotta remember to check their car trunks. Tsk, tsk, tsk!
Thanks for stopping by Dad Said, Mom Said. I'll be checking in on you again! Happy Holidays!
