Five

On Friday, Marty and I celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary.  Like the hopeless romantics we are, we spent the day working, running errands, and doing some projects.  In the evening, we took a break for a nice meal that we made together - steak, grilled zucchini and garlic mashed potatoes.

Now that I think about it, the way we spent our day together pretty accurately represents our marriage - there's always a lot of stuff to do, but it's always made better because we're together.

[Editorial Note: I have found that I do not have very many photos from our wedding on my computer...maybe by our 6th anniversary I'll have had the time to scan in some other shots.  If not, I'll be forced to create another variation on this same image.]

Even though you've doctored this image...it made me remember what a beautiful bride you were and how great your dress was! It seems like yesterday - except a long time ago.

Congratulations on five years! I can't believe it's been that long. You've gone from a great couple to a wonderful family in such a short period of time. It was so wonderful to be a part of a wedding of two people who were obviously so in love with one another. Here's to fifty (at least) more wonderful years together!
    Love, Meggie
