A few weeks ago when Marty sprayed the yard for crab grass, then thought he'd accidentally used roundup, then realized it was actually creeping charlie spray... we weren't really sure what would happen to our yard or garden.  So far, it's a mixed bag.  Most of the creeping charlie is gone, the crab grass is gone in most places, and some of our flowers still came up.  The tulips are all bent over like trees that are partway leveled in storms, then continue to grow bent over for years after (see photo from last week). 

I'm hoping that we can get out into the yard today and do some more weeding.  It's my goal this year to try to keep the front garden from turning into primarily a weed patch.  I'd settle for mostly flowers, just a few weeds.
