I like to think I'm pretty good at sharing, but my favorite thing ever to share is my birthday.  When I was little, I shared it with Jenny B.  In high school, I shared it with my friend Karen's sister Tina.  Last year I learned that I shared it with Jill's Baby Girl.  And now, I'm pleased to announce that I'm sharing my very special day with Maddyn Nicole Nelson.  Born at 11:45PM, she arrived in the nick of time, exactly as I'd requested.


And because I can hear my mom's voice in the back of my head, here is a close up without Nuk so you can see her whole pretty girl face (And no, I didn't rip the nuk out of a newborns baby mouth, it fell out while she was dozing so I quickly grabbed my camera so we could all adore her face.  I'm not totally heartless):

 

Momma Nicole reported an easy delivery, and by all accounts the little shrimp is a joy.  In fact, she's already slept for a five hour stretch.  I'm pretty sure that Sophie didn't do that until she was several months old.  Bravo Maddyn!
