It is with great joy that I announce that I have a NEW NIECE!  Jeff and Rachael are the proud parents of a baby girl, Nadia Ann, born this afternoon in Scottsdale.

My conversation with the kids about their new cousin went something like this:
Me: You have a new cousin!  Her name is Nadia!
Sophie: Yay! Nadia!
Martin: Well, who is the mom?
Me: Your Aunt Rachael.
Martin: Who is the dad?
Me: Your Uncle Jeff.
Martin: Well, who is the boy?
Me: There isn't one.  Nadia is a girl.
Martin: WHAT?

Like this news is the biggest rip ever.
