Full lunar eclipse
I was so excited when I read about the full lunar eclipse anticipated for tonight. Finally, we would be in a good position to see one, and the forecast was for a clear, cloud-free sky. I kept an eye on the sky through our kitchen window, waiting for some the action to begin.
I was able to get a few shots, but am admittedly disappointed in the results. Here you can see the moon (on left) at about 8:00PM and later (on the right) at about 9:00PM. The moon wasn't really smaller then, I just was standing father away (just kidding):

It was kind of like the total lunar eclipse we saw a few years ago, but luckily I got a better shot of that one:

Currently: listening to Moondance, watching Moonstruck, reading Goodnight Moon, and I just sent Marty on over to Denny's to get me some Moons over My Hammy.

Now that is a total moon eclipse! You are so clever!

I LOVE Moons over My Hammy.
Our photos were much the same. Disappointing. Nothing like the real thing. And missing the distinct smell of a campfire.
