Well, it is your birthday

I've been trying to talk to Martin for weeks now about what he'd like to have for his special birthday dinner.  With the countdown on and only seven days to go, I used the time honored parental technique for "serious talks" and approached the topic while in the car where I could have his undivided attention.

Me: Martin, what can I make you for your birthday?  I'd like to make you something special for dinner.
Martin: I dunno.
Me: Well, what is your favorite thing to eat?
Martin: Chicken bra.
Me: What?
Martin: Chicken bra.
Me: Chicken broth?
Martin: No! Chicken bra.
Me: Uh, do you mean chicken breasts?
Martin: Yeah.
Sophie: Whatever.

So, with that in mind, I'm off to try to find a recipe for some special kind of chicken.  And I'll try to keep myself from fashioning little chicken brassieres out of Pillsbury crescent dough.

I saw a photo of a turkey someone had baked and they made a make shift bra and underwear for the turkey out of aluminum foil, which it wore during baking, when done, it was removed and created what looked like tan lines. It was very funny and cute.

By the way, I like Sponge Bob too. When you don't have much of a choice you need to find the humor in it. Joshua always says when he gets p.o. about something, "OH! Tartar Sauce".
