It's Spring. Do you hear me?

Over the past week we've had several nice days, and despite the small snowfall we had on Monday, almost all of the snow had melted from our yard.  I could see the patio for the first time since November.  I started to daydream about my plants and pots on the deck.  I even paged through a seed catalog, even though I mostly like plants that can take care of themselves.  Spring was on my mind and I was starting to feel the kind of optimism that happens when we move from Winter to Spring.

And then I woke up to this.

There are some good parts about this.  We don't have to go anywhere today and I ran all of our errands yesterday.  We can pile on warm stuff and go outside to enjoy the Last Snowstorm.  Because that's what this is.  And I mean it.
