There's nothin' to do.
This week, and probably for the first time, Marty and I dealt out a consequence that really mattered to Martin. No Power Rangers for five days. No Power Ranger toys. No Power Ranger games. No Power Ranger TV shows. No Power Ranger costume. And he can't WAIT for the Power Ranger time out to be over.
Each day he talks about what landed him in this predicament. He vows not to do it again. He tries to negotiate with me for a Power Ranger release program. And as he passes the time by coming up with new things to do. My favorite boredom-inspired idea is one he calls "Monkey Girl" where he uses items found around the house for his costume and walks like a robot. Obviously.

Also obvious? That Marty was not home when the concept for this game was born.

No comments? This really made me laugh, I love the creative use of the potholders. I want to know if Marty goes to the site any time soon, the expression on his face...

Kathy - I no more than took two steps into the house and said, "OFF"..."NOW". I do not need to get any comments back on what that makes me...I'm fairly certain I can figure that out.

He's only one red hat short of being a member of the red hat society.
