I'm very pleased to report that we have a new baby in our midst (okay, so not the PHYSICAL midst, but the POST-32-FIDDY midst).  My friend Megan and her husband Matthew welcomed a new son into their family last week.  Meet the new cutest baby ever (and that's beginning to be quite a club):

Meggie reports that everyone is doing well and getting settled into life with two shrimps where there used to be only one.  Here is big sister Reina checking out the new man of the house:


I can't quite tell who is the adult in that photo, but I think we all know that it hardly matters, when a baby is present THE BABY IS PRESENT.  Everyone else becomes somewhat invisible since we're all too busy admiring the new baby cheeks.

The only bad thing about this photo is that I can't smell his baby head from here, and really, who doesn't want to?
