The Wonder Twins: Activated

This time last year, I had only one niece.  And as of a few days ago, I now have five.  Miles arrived last December, Nadia in January, and just two days ago the two latest cutest babies ever arrived.  Meet my new nephews, Leo and Vincent.

On the left is Leo Charles, 5 lbs.  And on the right, Vincent Morgan, 6 lbs. 13 oz.

We didn't know what to do at first.  We wanted to hold them and get a closer look, but they were all bundled up and looked like two peas just out of the pod.

But the urge was overwhelming, so I snuggled in with Vincent.  Martin wanted to show him his car, but told him to be sure not to put it in his mouth.  "You can't eat it," he told him.  "It's a CAR."

Here's a close up of Vincent.  I think he looks a little like Sophie did when she was a baby.  Except with a lot less hair.

Next we traded Vincent for Leo, and Martin gave him the once over.  Vincent felt super light, but in comparison, Leo is a feather.  His head is about the size of my brother-in-law Mike's fist.

Here's a close up of Leo.  He's so cute and little you want to wrap him up and tuck him into your purse and carry him around.  Of course, I do have quite a big purse.

And my niece Alexis with her baby brother Leo, the one that she quickly declared her favorite.  I think maybe I better get her a big purse, too.  She doesn't look like she's going to let go of him any time soon.

Congratulations Mike and Chris!  We're thrilled to have two more boys in the family.  And I don't know if anyone told you this, but the only rule with adding kids to the family is that they have to be louder than mine.  So please, bring on the noise.
