As stated many times, I am not much of a baker.  But we do love sweets, and thankfully, I've found a sugar cookie recipe that even I can make.  Sure, they're supposed to be of the cutout variety and mine are more like lumpy circles, but they taste great and turn out every time.  The recipe is courtesy of Marty's Aunt Louise.





Here's a close-up shot of our top-notch decorating work.  Every cookie is perfectly shaped, covered evenly in frosting, and sprinkles complete the orderly vision.


Here's a holiday hint for you:  If you're thinking about taking photos during baking to be used on your Christmas cards, don't dress your children in black .
