Nine years ago I made my first holiday mix, making only three copies.  It was titled "Christmas Ain't So Bad Without Jennie" and I sent copies to Sevda and Kathy (both recently relocated far away from my kitchen table) and to Marty (new boyfriend who was on the road all week long).  I made the mix out of songs I had in my collection - only about half a dozen CD's at the time.  Over the years, the collection has expanded, now mostly downloading single songs instead of buying actual CDs.  I've made a mix each year - sometimes producing dozens of copies and sending them in the mail, other times the distribution has been limited only to me.  This year, I made a mix for a group of ladies at work as a gift to kick off December.  The mix contains a lot of my most favorite songs - four that also appeared on that very first mix (I think), one downloaded just this year, the rest from all the years in between.
