Since the day she was born, Sophie's favorite spot to be is right next to me.  As she's gotten bigger, she's moved from my arms to my left hip.  And now that she's almost four, I'm hoping that soon she'll be satisfied with just holding my hand.  Although I'll admit that my left arm has never been stronger, I might kind of miss that.  Here we are at last year's tree cutting party in our standard position.  Sophie on my hip, snuggled in, as we walked through the fields during a blizzard in search of the perfect tree.
