A bit of the bubbly
Kid Champagne, Party Water, Special Wine - that's what we call non-alcoholic sparkling spumante, mineral water, or fizzy juices that we use around here to celebrate. Also, we don't wait for special occasions. Sure, we toast the holidays, but sometimes cooking together is reason enough to celebrate. Or, it's a slow afternoon, and hey! Let's celebrate. We use special glasses - champagne glasses, wine glasses, espresso cups, cordials. I figure, we have them, so why not. This is the same theory I apply when we use miniature gravy boats to add milk to cereal, pizza cutters to slice up fried eggs, or tongs as an eating utensil.

Side note: this photo also highlights the haircut he gave himself. He actually did it twice. Once on his own, and then again to show me just how he did it.

It was shortly after this that Sophie decided that constantly filling the cordial was too much of a hassle and upgraded to a full-sized wine glass. That's a girl after my own heart.
